To this day this is still the greatest depiction of springtrap, even the older model holds up as it rings more true to what an animatronic would look like, most animations spend so much time trying to make him look so photo realistic that they lose touch that it’s still an animatronic. But by far the greatest thing about this is the movements and the noises. The movements are truly reminiscent of a rotting human inside a breaking down machine, it can still function but moving is extremely difficult, yet it is still a robot with some crazy strength. And the sounds this spring trap makes seem so accurate. I honestly hate how springtrap can talk in the newer games. I believe it travels too far into mysticism, and if it stuck with the rotting corpse fused to an endoskeleton, this is what it would sound like, there’s just no possible way something that old and deteriorated would be able to make noises more developed than moans and grunts. And that’s why this depiction with little more than robotic grunts is so unbelievably accurate.
